Review by hotel critic
Nestled amidst lush greenery, Marina Point Bay Resort offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle, making it perfect for food enthusiasts like myself. The garden is meticulously maintained, creating a beautiful backdrop for the well-kept pool area. I found the vibe incredibly chill, enhancing my overall experience. The spacious room had a comfortable feel, and the large bathroom was a delight. The resort's location means it's a bit out of town, but the convenience of ordering a tricycle was appreciated, especially for a small fee of 150 pesos, making Alona Beach easily accessible. Now, let's talk about the culinary experience. I indulged in breakfast, which was satisfying. The on-site dining options, like the Garlic 'n Lemon Bistro just down the road, provided an authentic flavor of local cuisine. The staff, particularly Jason, were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we felt right at home. For a gourmet getaway, Marina Point Bay Resort strikes a nice balance between comfort and culinary delight-exactly the kind of escape I appreciate as a tea plantation owner.
